New Interview! Shane talks with CWG Magazine about his lates movie projects, his music, where he sees himself in a few years, and more!

Victoria: How would you describe your sound?
Shane: I lean toward an acoustic pop sound.

Victoria: Who are your musical inspirations and why?
Shane: I grew up listening to Steven Curtis Chapman. Honestly he’s such an inspiring singer/songwriter. I am also influenced quite a bit by Jon Foreman, Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz, Phil Collins, John Mayer and so many more.

Victoria: You got your first guitar at age 9. What was the first song you learned?
Shane: I really can’t remember, but it was more than likely a worship song.

Victoria: How do you balance the demands of acting and singing?
Shane: Well, you know a lot of people ask me which direction I’m going to ultimately choose to go in, and my answer is always, “Why do I have to choose?” I really love both art forms and even though it gets busy, I’m finding a way to do both. I believe it’s possible and so I’m doing my best to make that happen.
